What I do

I make storefronts work for people who browse with screen readers and keyboards — and conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard referenced in ADA website lawsuits and the settlements that end them. The work is real theme code on Shopify, BigCommerce, and custom builds: text alternatives, form labels, heading structure, keyboard operability, focus management, accessible names. Not an overlay widget — overlays appear in complaints, not in fixes.

And to be plain about who you'd be dealing with: I'm an independent freelancer — one person, not an agency. That's why the work is fast and the communication is direct.

How an engagement runs

1. The homework arrives first — free. A page-by-page audit of your core purchase flow, each finding mapped to the WCAG criterion it fails — tested the way a plaintiff's expert tests, with the code and a screen reader. If your case is fresh, I may have already sent it to you, with the court record attached, before the papers even arrived. Yours to use however you'd like: me, your developer, any agency. The full scope is public.
2. Implementation. Theme-level code, homepage through checkout. For most storefronts the line items are a couple hours of implementation work once theme access exists. You'll know the exact cost before anything starts — one number, no hourly meter, no surprises.
3. Validation and letter. I validate the fixes with screen readers and accessibility testing tools, then write a dated remediation letter documenting exactly what was done against each WCAG 2.1 AA criterion — the document your attorney can use in settlement discussions, or your team keeps on file.

If you've just been sued

• How did you know about my case? I monitor publicly available court data with software — real-time updates on what goes in and out as it happens. Filings are public the moment they're entered. Verify any case yourself on pacer.gov, the courts' official system (free account required), or CourtListener, a nonprofit archive. Better: read your own docket in ten minutes.
• Are you connected to the plaintiffs? No — to no plaintiff, court, or law firm, on any side. I fix websites.
• Lawyer or you? Lawyer, first and always. They handle the case; I handle the code. The conformance obligation these cases end with exists either way — someone has to actually build it.
